Couple with joy despite neurocognitive disorder

Comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation for complex medical, neurological, and neurodevelopmental conditions across the lifespan.

We provide careful, individualized assessment to help patients and referring providers understand cognitive
and functional concerns - and make informed next steps.

Why Neuropsychological Evaluation?

Neuropsychological evaluation is most useful when questions are complex. Many of the individuals we see have overlapping medical, neurological, developmental, and psychiatric factors that make symptoms difficult to interpret.

Our work integrates test data, medical history, developmental background, and real-world functioning to reach conclusions that are clinically meaningful and practically useful.

Our approach.

We understand that test results do not stand alone.

  • Assessments are tailored to the individual and referral question, not a fixed battery.

  • Results are interpreted in the context of medical history, developmental factors, and current symptoms, highlighting both strengths and limitations.

  • Recommendations are specific, realistic, and actionable—supporting diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, or daily functioning.

  • We specialize in evaluation of adults with complex or overlapping presentations, including:

    • Neurological conditions across adulthood and aging

    • Medical illnesses that affect cognition

    • Brain injury and treatment-related cognitive change

    • Autism and ADHD in adults, including later-identified cases

    • Neurodevelopmental conditions complicated by medical or psychiatric factors

    • Cognitive concerns with unclear or mixed etiology

We typically work with adults ages 18 and older. Limited exceptions may be considered on a case by case basis.

    • Evaluations begin with time to understand your concerns and history

    • Testing is selected for your specific needs

    • We are mindful of fatigue, health limitations, and sensory needs—breaks are built in, and testing pace is adjusted as required

    • Feedback is clear and actionable, with written recommendations tailored to your situation

  • Neuropsychological evaluation can support:

    • Diagnostic clarification

    • Treatment planning

    • Functional assessment

    Key Features:

    • Reports emphasize interpretation over test description

    • Recommendations are framed to support medical and psychiatric decision-making

    • Consultation regarding referral questions is welcome

Referral guidance and documentation instructions are available on the Referrals page.
